Difficulties are obvious, but the opportunities that accompany them often going undetected.

Which is unfortunate because these opportunities make for inspired, innovative and creative possibilities. Many individuals, companies and ideas got their start during crisis times.

Among the multitude of opportunities available during this difficult time, the following is one that’s on my mind.

Whenever the world panics over something, we get a clear look at our own spiritual state. The masks and pretense are stripped away and what’s left is what lies within. The real us.

In this current global crisis and panic, what are we seeing of our spiritual state? What is surfacing? Panic, selfishness and fear? Or goodness, kindness and peace? Maybe a mixture of them all. I want to ask in particular, how much does fear rule in your heart?

Fear is not the problem. It’s what we do with it. Or what it does to us. There’s good fear and bad fear. There are good…
